Boys Lacrosse Notebook: Jack Moran Wins 600th Game With Chaminade (N.Y.)

Chaminade (N.Y.) Head Coach Jack Moran joined an elite membership with a 17-7 victory over Darien (Conn.) on April 13. The Flyers sixth-straight win was also the 600th of Moran’s coaching career.
Moran is the seventh coach in boys lacrosse history to reach 600 career wins. He is the fourth coach in New York history to reach that mark.
Moran has been the head coach at Chaminade since 1979. In that time, he has taken the Flyers to the CHSAA finals 37 times and won 20 championships.
Gavin Creo led the team with seven points (5g, 2a) in the victory.

Quick Highlights
St. John Paul II Academy (Fla.) earned its first boys district championship in program history with a 10-8 win over Oxbridge Academy (Fla.) on April 13.
Souderton (Pa.) junior John Martin Vince scored the 100th goal of his career in an 18-1 victory over Harry S. Truman (Pa.) on April 13. PhillyLacrosse.com reported Vince with three goals and two assists in the victory.
Bryson Kolinsky from Downingtown East (Pa.) scored five goals to give him 100 for his career in a 15-0 win over Bishop Shanahan on April 13. PhillyLacrosse.com was the first to report this.
St. Anne’s-Belfield (Va.) Head Coach Bo Perriello was honored ahead of their April 14 game against Paul VI (Va.). Perriello is in his final season as the Saints leader. He has been the Head Coach since 2010 and compiled a record of 156-85 in that time. Perriello led the Saints to the 2015 VISAA Division I championship with a 16-7 record.
With one goal Marek Seaman broke the West Chester Rustin (Pa.) record for career goals. Seaman scored a goal and dished out four assists in a 21-2 win over Sun Valley (Pa.) to break the previous program record. Seaman has 139 career goals along with 76 career assists.
Alex Cerminara scored the 100th goal of his career with a two-goal performance as Hatboro-Horsham (Pa.) defeated Springfield-Montco 10-5. Cerminara also had one assist and four ground balls in the victory.
Alex Hume, a senior at Freedom (Pa.) notched his 200th career point in a 23-3 win over Northhampton Area (Pa.) on April 13.
